I studied Shamanism, Women's Spirituality, Human Growth and Potential, even the Psychology of Evil. It was quite something to stumble upon. I kept reading tarot while going to school and did my graduate research on the effect of rhythm on consciousness in mystical ritual. After I got my degree, I kept telling fortunes but with more schooling behind me. In my mid thirties after reading for many years I learned I am actually a Roma (Gypsy). Being adopted I didn't know this so it came as a big surprise that it was pretty much in my blood.
